macOS App + CLI

More skills, but organized.

Find skills, organize them, and kill the dead ones.

Free and open source. No Login.

Three problems. One map.

Skil doesn't invent a new format. It reads what your agents already use and gives it structure.

  1. Discovery

Too many skills to pick from.

Browse skills.sh's leaderboard (Top or Trending), or search by name — no API key. Run `skil suggest` for picks matched to this project's package.json.

  2. Management

Skills pile up, scattered across tools.

One scan reads .cursor, .claude, .codex, and .agents into a single catalog. File skills onto SDLC commands like /build, then toggle on — it writes .agents + .claude at once. Toggle off parks it; nothing is deleted.

  3. Evaluation

No idea which skills still earn their spot.

`skil doctor` flags idle-cost, fat bodies, conflicts, and dead skills — no LLM key required. Usage counts show what actually gets read.

Works with the agents you already use

Skil reads and writes the config folders your tools already create — no new format, no migration.

Built to stay out of your way

Nothing is ever deleted

Toggle off parks a skill or command under .skil/parked — it never deletes. Toggle on restores it.

One list, not five copies

No dock picker. One catalog, one command map, mirrored to .agents and .claude at once.

Local-first, always

State lives in .skil/state.json in your repo. No account, no server sync, nothing to lose.
